I don't blame you Erik. Not even death...... it would go in the coffin with me. Kirby created so much great work at DC and him and Neal working together was mind bending.

This is an awesome share of this combination that you'd think would be at opposite ends of the spectrum in styles.  If only we could somehow see it in a larger format so we can truly grasp the power of Kirby and the way Adams adjusted his own style to honor the King.

Is superman pulling part of the blast wreckage along with him? I love the early 4th world covers with Kirby's aggressive sales copy, bubbling over with inspiration and confidence. As a 12-year old I was utterly sold.
