So much of your synopsis
They died the day Hour hit Zero
Caught up in the Baker lines
But it was just too late Shadow
I thought it was you
Who's Who stands by my side
And now you've given me, given me
Nothing but Shadow dreams, Shadow dreams
Feel like I could runaway, Talok VIII
From this 80's art
Barbara would write for me
Wrote up so forcefully
And found her future not so bright
I dreamt the canonical
That Legion things could work out right
I thought it was you
Who's Who do me no wrong
And now you've given me, given me
Nothing but Shadow dreams, Shadow dreams
Feel like I could runaway, Talok VIII
From this 80's art

Sleek and sexy, the gloomy expression really adds charm to the character!

A stunning illustration. I LOVED Baker's art so much when he first broke in at Marvel and then went to DC. I thought he was going to be the next big thing in comics. He did go on to have success, but as we know, primarily as a self published artists. Drawing like this one show just how amazing the artistic legacy he could've left behind, had he not been someone who dislikes superheroes.

One of my favorite Tasmia drawings! I loved all of Baker's work in Who's Who in the Legion, as it was so different than what we usually saw in the regular Legion books.

How did I miss this back in the day. such a wonderful verion of Shady. Half Legionnaire and half club kid cosplaying well before it went mainstream.
Baker had such a handle on Village culture in the late 80s. This piece blends that style with what Lightle and Larocque were doing in Legion at the time.
Thanks for sharing

Wow !! This is a very unusual rendition of Shadow Lass but very identifiable as the work of Kyle Baker.

This is a fantastic piece by Baker. It's a beautiful image, during his peak period (that I like). Congrats!

The face is so realistic that it seems to come alive when you look at it. Impressive.
