Description
This is the May. Day 28. Thirty-One days of Star Wars continues...

Ibtisam was a female Mon Calamari Rogue Squadron pilot on the mission to the planet Ciutric IV to retrieve former Imperial Grand Vizier Sate Pestage and return him safely to the New Republic. By this point, she and fellow Rogue Nrin Vakil had grown very close, and their friendship was bordering on romance. An unusual circumstance as he was a Quarren from Mon Cala, and the Quarren and Mon Calamari often had a tense coexistence on their home world. But when Ibtisam is shot down by Imperial TIE fighters, Nrin lashes out at Pestage!

This page was a birthday gift from my dad (thanks pop!).

So, a race of octopus headed characters were created and were given the name Mon Calamari? You'll forgive me if I have trouble taking this seriously? I mean, why not just go all the way and name them Fried Calamari? Regardless, big props to dad for keeping up with the ladies and giving the best gift a man can get!

It's almost as if a bunch of costumers and stage hands 40 years ago came up with a bunch of nicknames for some actors in funny suits, never intending for those names to stick to a bunch of action figures, and novels, and comic books, and Disney+ TV shows....

Another page without your smile
Sate Pestage just passes by
And now I know
How much ink means
For you to hate Empire with me

The time we spent in art
Will make our Crespo stronger
It's a gift from dad
You can't make it any better

I Cala Mon Rogue with you
I wanna die flying with your Mon
I Cala Mon Rogue with you
I wanna be rocking like Jedis
I Cala be there for you
Sharing in everything you do
I wanna go Rogue with you

Quarren and Mon Calamari love, when two appetizers find their soul mates.

I don't mind admitting that I found that kind of gross and disturbing.....

I love a good piece of tentacle art. I am however afraid of how their race gets intimate lol. Great piece.

Now your dad? If you post another one from your grade one teacher I'm coming to your house armed with a pack of crayons.

My wife was very thorough in sending up the smoke signals for the family hotline.
