One of the unexpected pleasures of 2010s X-Men, Doctor Nemesis was an obscure Golden Age character re-imagined as a dapper and humorously ruthless mad scientist and member of X-Club, the X-Men's tech division. Paul Davidson drew him for the 'X-Club: Blind Science' one-shot. So when Davison offered a sketch cover option for his crowdfunded art book, I knew which character to request. I also found him a convenient character to cosplay during the COVID pandemic, since he already wears a surgical mask.

Really cool this reminds me of some of the independent comic covers of the 80's. That weapon looks heavy and able to unleash hell.

A touch of class brought over to the X-Men never hurts! Maybe they wanted to pay homage to Eisner's Spirit with this pulp look.

Sweet cosplay in those additional pics! And with the art, dig the pose with the flailing tie, and those are some very nice subtle color accents. Congrats!
