It's like two scenes on one cover with the rocket threatening to break through that barrier! The geometric design of circles, arcs and chords is great.

Love this prelim! Ed Emshwiller did a terrific job composing this. I like the interior scene juxtaposed against the space scene. Interesting that the curved line separating the two is almost like the curved edge of a planet. Cool pick-up!
