This is a preliminary idea for the Lord of the Rings calendar. It didn't make it into the calendar, but I wish it had. I think if Kaluta made this into a finished plate, he really would have knocked this out of the park.

Kaluta's design architecture resembles a dragon winding upward with the head right at the throne.
