DescriptionThis is the May. Day 14. Thirty-One days of Star Wars continues...Ulic Qel-Droma was, during different parts of his life, a Jedi Knight of the Old Republic, a warlord in the Empress Teta star system, and a Dark Lord of the Sith. We follow all of his ascent and fall through the various Tales of the Jedi titles. In this final arc, Redemption, a broken Qel-Droma exiled himself to Rhen Var, and hoped to live out his days in solitude. However, he was found by an aspiring Jedi - Nomi Sunrider's daughter Vima, whom he agreed to train. After he found success and a measure of inner peace through his tutelage of Vima, Ulic was shot by a spacer named Hoggon who wanted to become famous (or perhaps notorious). While Nomi and Vima tend to the dying Ulic, he tells Vima to remember the possibilities and gives her his medallion, bestowing her knighthood. Then Ulic passes in Nomi's arms. On the following page he pulls a Yoda and disappears leaving behind his cape and robes, finally at peace with the Force. After purchasing another Redemption page (which I posed yesterday) on a CAL sales show with Christian, I reached out inquiring if this page was still available. So, just to be sure I understand what happened here, is this the equivalent to someone who practices the martial arts being at their dojo and they get awarded their black belt by their sensei just a moment before the sensei suddenly dies?

Yep, or if a head chef is stabbed in the kitchen by the wait staff, then said dying chef hands over the golden glowy spatula to the sous-chef before dying. Same deal.
