The two causal factors that relit the franchise were the 1991 releases of Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire novel, and at the end of the year the Dark Empire comic series by Dark Horse. It was a no-brainer to adopt Heir to the comic medium just a few years later. An outstanding cover that captures all of the issues action. Congrats!
This was definitely a major nostalgia hit! The likenesses lit up the senses and the hype around the special editions coming back were in full swing! Star Wars was back and gave new hope to fans old and new!
