It feels like this week is Mon-El week! Maybe you should segue to Blok week after this, as that's a Legionnaire who art fans don't seem to collect or give much attention to, the way they do Mon-El, Lightning Lad and the rest of the Lads and Lasses. Which when you think about it, is kind of strange given that the big strong guys are usually the most popular characters, like Hulk, Thing, etc. Kudos once again to Campanella for a very Terry Austin-ish ink job!

Yes, It is Mon-El week(s)!. Blok had only a ten year history with Legion and I may have already posted many of the pages I have with him including this one. But I will have to look to see if I can find more.
Why wasn't he more popular? Probably because, as opposed to the others who thought with their fists, Blok was more of a philosophical hero.

Every Cullins page
The ink of the lines
When Blok was still mined
And Who’s Who
Got to get away
Get you to Daxamite
I'm caught up in time
And Who’s Who
I don't miss all the fun of Dryad
You were always around me
Where are you now
I need Blok now
If Mon El’s around
It would be alright

Oh wow, I never realized that Blok only had a paltry 10 year history with the Legion! Was he killed or something? I also never knew that he was one of those strong guys who used his brain more than his brawn, let alone that he was something of a philosophical hero. Perhaps he philosophized that fighting accomplished nothing and decided to retire instead? So bizarre to learn all this, all these years later. But I appreciate the knowledge drop!

Excellent. Always glad to see Mon-El and love the Dryad image.
