Well this wasn't expected. I think I first saw this cover here on CAF after it had been published and immediately fell in love with it. Naturally, as all of us do, I kicked myself for somehow missing when it first got offered by Geoff's dealer. A few months later it goes up for sale here on CAF during one of the great Comic Art Live events. Unfortunately the price was a little too steep for me and I figured someone else would snag it. Cue a month or two later and it comes up on Comiclink. And at that point I decided I would take a run at it. Fortunately I had the funds to make what I thought was a good offer, but still thought I would get outbid. Thankfully, that didn't happen and I snagged it. A Hulk cover, and an Immortal Hulk cover at that. I absolutely love the image and could not be happier. Thanks to the Gamma Collective here that helped me get it (you know who you are). It is much appreciated.

I made some bids on this one myself early on, but there were some other items I was going harder after. Unfortuantly, they both got away :(. Congrats on the great piece.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear the other piece got away as well. There were some good pieces in that auction (and a few had my attention) but this was the one I loved. Thanks fo the kind words and I hope in the next auction you can grab what you want.

Stunning piece by the incredible Geoff Shaw. I'm a huge fan and almost went after this piece but ended up going hard after another piece. I'm glad someone who really appreciates Geoff got it.
