Description

Love the use of color in this commission - especially the reflections on the armor.

Interesting that Rom has actual fingers here rather than his "mittens" from the comic and toy (I know some find his mitten hands offputting).

I had my eyes on this for a few years and I attempted to get it on the Wheeling & Dealing with Anthony show but they were unable to locate the piece. I pored through Anthony's inventory at the open house he held before the March 2023 NJ Comic Art Con and was able to find it.

Let me guess, it was in the Gen1 Silver Surfer Portfolio, behind the goblin, next to the Dum Dum suit, under the cake pans, to the left of the greeting card paintings, through the cake fridge, right by the shipping department. Pretty nice with the battery powered eyes! Somehow that crosshatching works to add polish to the chromium look.
