Description

When it rains, it pours. After years spent in a wasteland of Liam-Sharp-less art, I've been really fortunate to rectify my situation and then some.

This page is from the early days of Liam's run where the Hulk is on the run with Betty after the fall of the Pantheon and living a "quiet" life with Betty.

Okay, guilty confession time.  After being spoiled with classic art runs by greats like Buscema, Byrne, Keown, and Frank.  And subsequently feeling abandoned after each of those artists left the book, I couldn't take any more and left the book myself after Gary's run ended.  So yeah, I never gave Sharp a fair shot.  But seeing a page like this makes me want to kick myself (no small feat when you're in your 60's and can't even stretch to save your life, LOL).  You wanted a Sharp page and you got one.  Hard to imagine doing better than this beauty.  Congrats sir!

I totally get the feeling of abandonment, man. I felt the same way even though mine started with Keown. You should give the Liam run a try...I jumped ship right after it myself though :)

You are hitting that Liam Sharp era of Hulk wonderfully with all these fun pieces.  Some hulking great panels, especially that lower right one against the moon sky.  Congrats!

Can the Hulk get more massive?

Fun stuff (Liam even invented some muscles here and there ;)

Wow, quite a score here, Eranga! Some may start to think you've got a pretty Sharp eye for this stuff....

such an awesome page, I felt his artwork style really worked with the stories from PAD.

I think PAD adjusted his stories a tiny bit to fit Liam's aesthetic. They got progressively darker during this run. I loved it!

Incredible!  I don't know about you, but I'm dying to see a version of the page with the "missing" panel 4 (documenting the Hulk's attempt(s?) at getting his arms into the shirt...).  An absolutely fantastic Sharpie Hulk page - this is tremendous.  The hatching in panel 2 is excellent, and look the profile of the dwarf (?) in panel 3...  Stunning work.  Brilliant score, Eranga!  Congrats!

Great page, Eranga.  Huge and massive, just like Hulk should be drawn. You are one lucky fella, I wish I had a killer Sharp Hulk piece.  Got any extras?

Wow - is he on spinach? Or was that the sailor. In any case, fantastic page.
