DescriptionBeen looking for a cover from a big story line and a cover from Capullo so beyond happy to get them both in one shot! One thing I learned quick getting back into art is the “trifecta” pieces are the grails to go for. Big artist on a big title is great but the grail pieces to get have that third element of a famous story line. Albeit usually the newest run on most “best Of lists” the court of owls storyline generally appears on any best Batman story lists out there and more importantly is to me! As an added bonus this one features the first appearance of Talon as well to check a fourth box! Such a nice action scene and the detail. This art was also used for The artist edition book for Greg. Love the story and love the art and can’t be happier with the addition.Social/Sharing |

They knew this was going to be good from the get go and priced it accordingly. Even though there was doubt around New 52 and DC titles dropping away after a few months, this was going to resonate beyond that event.

Mindblowingly cool cover from Greg Capullo! I love Capullo's intricate detailing on this cover. He really makes this scene come to life!

This book got me back into reading comics, after a few decades, and thus, into collecting OA. what a great story and great creative team. Congratulations!!

Wow! Huge congrats, Ryan! The #1 cover is seared into everyone's brain, but I think think one's right there in terms of quality. Just a killer energy AND uniquely awesome composition. Congrats, again!

When I saw this come up, I thought "that is the best cover Greg Capullo ever did" and 20 min later it was sold. This one just feels different. The energy, the perspective, everything is eye popping. Huge congrats! If I had the disposable income I'd have snapped this up too!

Thanks! Yea I was just about to board a plane back from a large card show and saw it pop up the second the email was sent out as they were calling group 1 lol. I was like crap that's a lot of money but I gotta decide quick. Thought about it for 2 minutes and said screw it and claimed it as I knew I'd never forgive myself if someone else got it. Felt better when someone else immediately tried to get it from me for the same price haha
