DescriptionThe 'Young Justice' event, its tongue firmly in cheek, de-aged various heroes to teenagers, forcing them into role reversals with erstwhile sidekicks who turned into adults. On this expositional page, young Cyborg and Starfire make their colleagues uncomfortable with romantically forward behavior. This frame story by Miller and Wong is only a set-up for a flashback to an 'untold tale of the 1970s Teen Titans' with art by Breyfogle and Koblish. Coloring helps the final panel of this page substantially, making it clear that the arc surrounding Nightwing's face is actually a pink heart representing tween Starfire's eager but awkward smooch upon his lips. The word balloons on this page are pasted down, a rare feature of DC art from this point forward. Starfire is a paste-up in the final panel. Social/Sharing |
