However, the Legionnaires manage to rescue Dev-Em and defeat the Dark Circle. The final original splash page from the original series and what a beauty it is! I really like this early period of Jurgens' career and ditto for Karl Kesel.

I've run out of superlatives to describe your collection as a whole or the amazing individual pages you post. Seriously, as a lover of the Legion, you have to have one of the most impressive collections in the hobby as a whole (not just Legion art).
Dan and Karl were firing on all cylinders at this point. This compares favorably to even the best of the Giffen/Mahlstedt. SImply gorgeous Super Sci Fi goodness.

Incredible title splash! What a dramatic moment as the Legionaires close in on the Dark Circle who've poisoned Dev-Em! Beautiful layout by Dan Jurgens and crisp, sharp inks by Karl Kesel! Great pick-up--Congrats!
