I love these fun Fred Hembeck 'sketch cards.' I've been able to snatch up a few myself. You nabbed a great one!!

You win the Hembeck competition! Absolutely MARVELous! It's addicting, once you start it's hard to stop, but you've got a real winner here. Cheers!

Most of the costume arguments stem from those who either prefer the original yellow or Byrne's classic brown & tan, while Lee's blue & gold is often overlooked. Leave it to Fred to show that it's true what they say about a man in uniform.

Pretty Logan, Hembeck draws so neat
Pretty Logan, my kind of Wolverine
Pretty Logan I don't believe you, you're not a sketch
No card art looks as good as you, Wolvie
Pretty Logan won't you shave and preen
Pretty Logan I couldn't help but see
Pretty Logan that you’re the best there is to be
With your claws out Wolverine

I was talkin' to a blind man last night. He said "That Wolvie card you're holding, man what a sight!" ;)

Fantastic Hembeck! I love little "shiny" icon that Fred gave to the claws here, as though they'd need a little extra polish to compete with the busy-ness of the rest of the costume... I mean, you have rivets and stripes and long hair and lots of color and everything...:). And the lengths to which Fred went to accommodate the swirly knees - that took some effort! :) Really, really fun piece, Rick! Congrats!
