Description

Wonderful drawing/inking by Mike Royer on this recreation of the Kirby Eternals character. I have a Black Panther page with Jack's pencils and Royer's inks, so I wasn't bothered by the recreation of the pencilling here.

Absolutely love the tight technical inking and maybe my favorite inker of Kirby's work. Royer likes to promote that claim that Jack said Royer was his favorite inker.

The way I see it Kirby is the language and the inker is the dialect. Royer is a different accent than say Sinnott.

Big bold giant head (page is 11x14") stared at me on my office wall and I love it.

This is the first time I used the scan of the work, rather than taking a photo of what arrived because it's so clean that it's identical.
