Description

"Into the Great Unknown" is a ten-page, non-canon story that was written by Haden Blackman. Within its pages, Han Solo and Chewbacca pilot their starship, the Millennium Falcon, blindly into hyperspace and end up crashing into planet Earth's Pacific Northwest. Solo is killed by a group of Native Americans, and, 126 years later, his skeleton is discovered by the archaeologist Indiana Jones, who is searching the area for the fabled Sasquatch - who is, in fact, Chewbacca.

I like this beacuse it has the a space pirate feel of them navigating through the stars in two big establishing shots for scale. That semi circle at the bottom looks like a tall ship's steering wheel.

Wha? I have to search for this book. This is real? Was the writer drinking? Or perhaps you are drinking and just pulling my leg.

Each issue of Star Wars Tales included several unrelated short stories, most of which were placed outside of canon. These so-called "Infinities" stories were some of my favorites, actually!
