This page by JG Jones was fun to do. Panel 3 and 6 are actually photo stats which you can probably tell. Still a classic piece of a classic scene in the history of SPIDERMAN!

This begs the question (after reading your description and panel six in particular) Who did it?.... Sticking the copies on.....Pardon me. Heading off to beat up Dave Gibbons about all those photocopied Watchmen panels....Slothful artists. lol.

Who pasted it on? Marvel editorial.

Was this done after the original panels were drawn? Seems like an odd way to do a page, Or did they say in the script that 3 and 6 would be stats? This sort of stuff always intrigues me.

Was noted that it would be paste ups to keep the flashback look.
