Description
Saowee had some pieces up for sale on a Next Comic Artists show hosted by CAF. This one was titled "Personal" since it didn't represent any character. The bluish black watercolors male for a beautiful night sky. The dark hair as it flows into the white flocking of the costume make for a richly detailed costume. The staring eye is hypnotic.

It has many influences that are a crossover into many genres like manga horror and fantasy adventure to present a mood that is personal to her.  A true gift of the artist is what they give of themselves.

When I first saw this piece from Sao, I messaged her immediately and said that it scared the bejeezus out of me. She's ready for a horror book cover!
