Description
Art is 9"x12" on bristol.

Early February 2023 I received an update email from SplashPageComicArt.com's Mark Hay.

It said that Michael Lark was opening up a small slot for commissions. I jumped on it.

But here's the thing -- I let him decide. I gave him two sets of characters that I thought would mesh well with his style and that I wanted (of course). From the get he picked the character set, created the art and I had no idea what I was getting until it arrived on March 24th, 2023.

MIND
BLOWN

This piece is going up in my son's room to remind him that Dad will always have his back.

Has a brillinat composition to have the sword at the angle to anchor Ogamito to the steps a second way, because there is so much negative space used in this piece.

Excellent choice/fit and execution by Lark.

Michael Lark is such a talent.   His resume is incredible and the quality just as impressive.   I wouldn't have thought of this as a request.   Stunning.

Love the mix of both a realistic vibe with a traditional comic book look!  Great use of negative space, too.  Nice choice for Mark, E C - congrats!
