A GI Joe cover! Grateful to add this one to the collection as I'm a huge fan of Larry 'The Godfather of GI Joe' Hama. Hama�s style is quite sketchy, but there is a lot of energy in his pencils that I always love; it�s his style - one that looks great even uninked. You can see on the attached published cover that Hama's pencils are printed directly as the RI sketch cover.

On this cover, Torpedo and Thunderclap driver Long Range prepare for action!

Torpedo :( He was my favourite action figure and I lost his flipper. Then he could only swim in circles. Lucky Cobra has horrible aim.

Hama's writing was what kept the series going for all these years. It was quite a treat to see that he drew anything for GI Joe since we had not seen art from him since his early days in the 70's.
