So this one probably pushes the boundaries of comic art, but it must be added to the gallery! My unbridled love for Twin Peaks continues with this proper Simpsons tribute by Gregory Pepper. He is one of my absolute favorite musicians, and his music has meant so much over the years. He also has a song that references this scene from Twin Peaks so I thought that this would be up his alley. Was very excited when he agreed to do commission and we were definitely both into the idea.

The original scene (see additional image) features a character by the name of �The Woodsman� and is from the 2017 series, Twin Peaks: The Return. This scene turned out to be one of the most memorable parts of the new season, as well as a key moment for the entire show. To avoid any spoilers, I will simply say that this guy is just looking for a little fire. We already knew Homer would be the driver of the car, but we had a fun back and forth on deciding which character from The Simpsons would portray The Woodsman. Lenny and Chester J. Lampwick were both brought up, but ultimately Jasper was the clear winner, and a hilarious choice.

Overall, he nailed the grey tones here and I think that is easier said than done. The Twin Peaks scene is truly represented here, and being set in The Simpsons world adds a wonderful level of humor.

Looks amazing with an even darker tone than the times they actually did reference Twin Peaks on the show.
