Usagi Yojimbo #24 IDW Cover Art by Stan Sakai 2021

I originally posted this as an “unpublished” version of Usagi Yojimbo #24 from IDW with pencils and inks by Stan Sakai on an 11” by 17” Bristol board, because that’s how it was listed when sold to me. However, I believe Mr. Sakai will note an “unpublished” version with those exact words on the top of the artwork (see the Usagi Yojimbo #27 cover in Harry M’s gallery). Here it just says “Cover” so I’m fairly certain that this is indeed the published version. Chuck Dillon was the colorist on the final cover seen in the Additional Images.

The illustration features Usagi defending Kiyoko from a local mob who had kidnapped her. I love the detail in the piece and thanks to Nicole for working out a deal with me!
