Description
I am pleased to be able to add this important piece to my collection. It had been offered to me once before at a price I was unwilling to pay and at the time sadly passed it up. However, it recently found its way on to dueling dealers and luckily the price was right.

I love that this has both Adam Warlock and Magus imagery on the same page. Magique had placed a witch mark on Adam previously and was in the middle of hunting him down after Adam's attack on high-ranking members of the Shi'ar Imperium and Vulcan himself. Adam's attack being in defense after a failed request for a ceasefire between the Shi'ar Imperium and Kree Empire during earlier issues of the crossover event, "War of Kings". On this page, Adam is in the middle of working out a nice little magic trick for Magique in the last two panels. The spell then drains Adam's ability to maintain his façade and reveals his true imagery, which is that of Magus (An early foreshadow). It isn't for two more comics though where Magus finally reveals himself.

I am always excited when I get to add a new page to my main comic collection, but even more importantly for me was the fact that this was the first page I was able to pick up from John Livesay. John was kind enough to help me identify an inker for previous pages in my collection and thus I felt it necessary to add one of his pages as well. However, it was no easy task as they seemed to all be off the market. His inking style brings a whole different look to the series, and I quite enjoy the published look of his pages. I have always been a fan of heavy inks, and this page definitely fits that category as well.

Something we can all use in life. May the art we are looking for just come to us with ease.

We'll meet again
Don't know where
Don't know when
But I know
We'll meet Adam
Ink heavy page

Keep Magique fooled
Just like you
Magus too
'Til the carpet ride
The art's found
Livesay

And will you please say hello
To witch marked in a duel
Tell 'em Brad, I won't be long
And they'll be recapped in show
Chat as you saw me go
I was claiming along

John Livesay really is a great guy, and of course a fantastic inker.  This is a real stunner of a page, congrats!

Livesay did a really nice job inking Walker on this series. I especially enjoy what he did withthe little bits of feathering on Warlock in the bottom two panels which gives some texture to his skin/face. Kudos on landing this!

Those last 2 shadowed panels are just straight impressive.  I GOT to get a Walker piece, soon.  Congrats, Ian!
