Here's an older pencil commission of 2 of the main characters from the hit Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples creator owned Image Comics sci-fi opus, Saga! This is Alana (one of the main protagonists) and her baby Hazel (the main narrator for the story).

The series is done all digitally, and getting a Saga related piece/commission from Fiona herself proves to be a challenge, so having character commissions done from "unrelated" artists is really the only way to capture this great book in my art collection somehow.

I'm a little behind on the reading with the series since it came back from its 3-year+ hiatus in 2022, but hopefully I'll be able to catch up soon. It's right up there with Paper Girls and Y The Last Man among BKVs finest works and Fiona's art (albeit digital) is a stand out.

And thanks to my friend Jim for this piece, I believe this was his first ever commission as an artist back in 2019.
