Description
I picked this up during CAF live and am thrilled to add this to my collection. I have a decent amount of art revolving around the Phalanx, but this is my first clear image of them. I own a partial picture of them as their form took shape around the Babel Spire in "Annihilation Conquest: Prologue" by Mike Perkins. Additionally, this page comes with great imagery of the High Evolutionary, who took center stage in the Guardians of the Galaxy 3 movie just released. (***The next sentence might give a hint towards the GotG 3 film, so stop here if you don't want any spoiler hints. ***) The dynamics between the High Evolutionary and Adam Warlock take center stage to mimic a slight essence of the MCU film with this piece. With this comic, however, the High Evolutionary is turning on his son as he had already made a deal with the Phalanx prior to interacting with Adam. Looks like a case of Daddy issues right here. Darth Vader would be very proud. I also love the heavy inks for this piece. Another key page for the main collection.

I am telling you. Ladies shoe salesman and the No Mam group are the cause of it all lol.

Yes, great view of the Phalanx. I also love the lighting technique. Beautiful black and white contrast!

Agreed. The lighting is awesome with this. It even masked the Phalanx hidden in one panel to the point I didn't relize they were even in it. Noticed them a few weeks after purchasing.

Phalanx conquest and some beat up kids
My comic book Guardian team up dream
I felt art was the best, Adam looked at me
I knew we were bound to be on paper
Found for me to gather

Don't twist my arm
I don't know how it happened
I took the claim, Dad said

Oh don't you dare look back
Evolutionary
I said you're holding back
He said shut up, Phalanx with me
The Phalanx are my destiny
He said oh oh oh
Shut up, Phalanx with me

I sure hope Phalanx aren't my destiny. I always knew Ai would take over lol.

Agreed Tom had a great Adam and I feel Scott accentuated it with the ink lighting as Rubén stated. The muscles are very meticulously lit. Thank you.
