Rocket Raccoon by Brad Walker

No regrets indeed. That is a wonderful piece with an awesome upgrade. I am a total fan of his artwork and gald it made it into your Rocket collection.

Many thanks! I didnt know he's drawn an early issue of guardians of the modern era and I'd always wondered what his take would look like. It did not disappoint, couldn't believe it when he revealed it.

So for the Modern Era Pencillers as best I can find for Rocket Raccoon and Groot it goes Timothy Green II, Tom Raney, Paul Pelletier, then Brad Walker. He took over the GotG Vol. 2 run right after Paul and interchanged then with Wes Craig as the main pencilers for the run. I just put my main collection in order and if you look at it now, it is in order of release dates and thus is the early history for modern GotG as best I can find. 69 pages (soon to be 70 pages when I post) that cover their runs through the main titles they were in and connected with. I started it back in Annihilation as Star-lord met Gamora and Drax on those titles with Andrea Di Vito, then a prologue with Mike Perkins that connects, but Annihilation Star-Lord was where Groot and Rocket Raccoon joined. Modern GotG all first meet in Annihilation: Conquest in issue 6. I was able to grab some of the early pieces from a few titles as tracked when they were meeting Star-lord, which seemed to be their entry point into Modern Era. The way I see it is the era begins with the authors Keith Giffen, or Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning as that is when the stories seem to intertwine. Either way, I have collected more of Brad's pieces than any other as they were still available and I totally love his artwork. Thus, I really enjoy your piece. I hope to some day get a commission if ever the time is right.
