Description

Going to Heroes 2023 I knew that I wanted to get something by Sanford. I've met him a couple of times since Heroes 2022 and I've been consistently impressed by the man and his work.

Having read the Bitter Root omnibus earlier this year, a Bitter Root artist's choice was nearly a lock, but then I fell in love with a little nihilist named Hobart Brown by way of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and Punk Rock won the day.

Heroes was another great event - my most heartfelt thanks to everyone for the generosity and bonhomie. A truly special weekend.

Fantastic pick up, M L! Sanford's Spider-Verse design of Hobie was -so- strong, and captured his charm and edge -SO- well, that there's really no surprise he stole the show. Great commission choice, and Sanford nailed it! Congrats, M L - this is s super piece!

Nice gettin' a Hobie head shot by Spider Verse contributor and all around good dude, Sanford. Spatter effect is a nice subtle touch. Congrats, M!
