On a Chilean train bound for Iquique, Teresa's team of police officers are guarding Francisca and Diego Guerrero in an empty freight car. Starting on page 44, the driver sees a figure on the tracks ahead: “Hey!

(Francisca) “Teresa…”

(Teresa) “Stay calm. We're locked in. They can't… ah!” (The door bursts off the train car.)
