“Dr. Strangefate” by Paul Smith. Okay, thanks to Marcus Wai I learned about Amalgam comics (1996-97). This was an imprint of combining characters from the Marvel and DC universes resulting in new, unique ones. Dr. Strangefate is the result of the combination of Dr. Strange from Marvel and Dr. Fate from DC. Smitty did a great job especially on the wonderful detail he has put into the cape. A very fun and respectful image!

The natural crossover design for Doctor Strangefate made him one of Amalgam's biggest hits. Paul Smith's figurework on the hand gesture and body language does a great job of emulating that Kevin Nowlan type of inking from the classic one shots.
