Description
I’m thrilled to add this Human Torch #8 cover with a full team Fantastic Four and big, bold images of Torch, Thing, Sue and Reed! Key issue reprints "The Painter of a Thousand Perils” from Strange Tales #108 (1963) and Ron Wilson’s cover is even more dynamic than Jack Kirby’s original.

Art within art!  Last issue of the series and they went for broke!  Hopefully this didn't make you broke.

Oh wow! There is so much classic 70's art on this one. I didn't recognize Ron Wilson's style at first.

Awesome cover. Ron Wilson both paid tribute and elevated the impact of the original cover image. Another banger addition to your OA museum - congrats Dino!

I nevfer get tired of the "Artist's drawing/painting comes to life" motif on comic covers. This is a great one, Dino, congrats!

Incredible cover from the best year! Ron Wilson did a fantastic work on this one, but Giacoia's inks are always spectacular!

Crazy cool Human Torch cover, with the Torch and the Thing and the rest of the Fantastic Four literally leaping off the page! Very dynamic cover by Ron Wilson and Frank Giacoia. Love the angry look on Thing's face as he prepares to land a haymaker on Johnny Storm. I don't remember this reprint book, but the "Painter of 1,000 Perils" seems a little bit like the Puppet Master, making others do whatever he can draw them doing, Very cool pick-up, congrats!
