Received this in a trade - thanks Marvin!

Sal Buscema Spectacular Spider-Man #149 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1989).

The second Carrion, aka Malcolm McBride, attacks Spider-Man at the grave site of Miles Warren (a clone of whom was the original Carrion), in this stormy cover. Ain't that a kick in the head!

The art is in ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 9.75" x 15".

They revisted the clone storyline ahead of the clone saga! Very nice pickup from this era of Spidey!

From this cover one can see why Sal Buscema was the right inker for BWS. The line work and inking is very reminiscent of BWS. One great pickup.

Loved this period of Sal's art--more distinctive and expressive, particularly in how he inked himself. Great cover!
