Description
This is the only piece of art I own that I am unsure about. It was purchased years ago on Ebay and claimed to be the cover to Boris the Bear #7. Can anyone help me out on this?

No, no no Mr. Mike Carithers. pay no attention to Mark Levy. He's spinning you a yarn. This isn't the cover of the elf quest spoof where Boris with the aid of Moonshine liberates the smelves and saves the elfs by defeating evil Noloss. I don't know what this is. If you're apprehensive of having uncertainty in your collection I guess I can volunteer to bear the burden for you. I'll give you a dollar.

Geez - I don't appreciate the random libel

Next time, I won't weigh in with an opinion as you are not totally wrong, I am not a Boris expert. Since you made a public comment, I must say I had nothing to do with the sale of this evidently falsified item.

I'm sorry, Mr. Levy. I was using you to try make this piece undesirable to the owner so that I may purchase it for a dollar. My shallow ruse has offended. I'm sorry. My offer of a dollar was a joke too.

I'll pay two.

It's by artist/creater James Dean Smith.

I was hoping you would chime in on this. It looked legit, but again with no provenance, it was hard to say for sure.
