Epic Battle! Monarch vs Monarch for all the black ink!!!!!!!
For Doom's sake I hope that's a bot.
I read the issue as a kid; Doom more than holds his own...
This is sick! Heavy action and glorious detailed inks. Skroom, Skroom, Skroom, a let me hear ya say Namor, Namor!
Tyler T is the DJ for me !
Now this is the Jae Lee art I'm looking for. Congrats.
fireee
Namor unleashed. Spectacular page by Jae!
Classic Jae Lee awesomeness!
A beautiful example from a very nostalgic era! Love it!!
Raw and visceral! Makes a great image!
Jae Lee goodness!
Wild brushwork energy from early Jae Lee! He must have studied arm anatomy that day. The open montage look opens up all the action and graphic design.
Arm & Wood Splinters Day!
Beautiful Steve!
Excellent layout and inking here by Jae. Congrats!
Amazing Namor
Perfect example!
What's not to like here. Epic battle on early Jae Lee art. Two of my fav villains in Marvel ( yes I said it Namor is a villain ) and the layout of this page is awesome .
Hit me as well that two of FF's traditional villain gallery are duking it out...
The bad-assery of this page speaks for itself!
One of the best pages of the run! Love the layout, and that top panel is intense, to say the least! Killer scratchy line work throughout, too. Congrats!
SKROOOM! That's the impact this splash page made on my eyeballs! Gorgeous work by Jae Lee featuring Namor versus Doom! I love the way these separate scenes aren't boxed off from one another but fit together almost organically on the page! Great pick-up!
A really dynamic composition, and such an unusual panel layout - especially with no panel borders!. The enmity between Namor and Doom really explodes here. The centre tier is really interesting, in that Doom's body just seems to disappear - perhaps in a fog of war - making him seem more spectral.
