STRANGE TALES #89 cover recreation--1st FIN FANG FOOM!!! Took quite a while cleaning up color images/cover scans to finally get what I could work over as a blueline. No great B&W image online. Had always wanted to take a crack at it. Original art by JACK KIRBY and DICK AYERS.

Tried to be pretty faithful. Added texture to the house. Made the guy's hair more brunette as in the story that would be accurate.

Only the small letters were 'held'/printed in black (and then touched up). Rendered over printed bluelines with pen, brush, Japanese marker/brush pens and a little grease pencil. Suitable for framing. 11 x 17 on Bristol board. I signed the artwork.

I was the inker on ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN, THE FLASH, DOOM PATROL, SUPERBOY, SECRET SIX, BIRDS OF PREY, TEEN TITANS & more. Each page of original art is the ACTUAL one-of-a-kind hand-rendered piece! NOT A PRINT! The artwork itself is in excellent shape. As a bonus I will include two of my prints (your choice).
