Superb end page for the story �Madness in a Dark Dimension,� features the three main players in this tale, Superman, the Phantom Stranger and the maniacal Joker. Climatic moment in this enthralling tale as the Man of Steel defeats the powerful malevolent cosmic entity known as Maaldor the Darklord with a blast of his heat vision as Paul Kupperberg writes, �The very universe churns and ripples with the writhings of its center! Something is amiss! And then, everything is as it should be�as it should�ve been from the moment of its creation.� And, as the enigmatic Phantom Stranger explains what has just unfolded in the unseen fabric of time and space, the Joker tries for a cheap shot upon Superman, only to have his cruel intentions backfire rather painfully. The Phantom Stranger closes the tales by stating, �Your powers were tied to insanity, Joker�and save for yourself�there is NONE of that here!� Well said Stranger. Very well said!
