Description

Original Study Gouache/ Watercolor signed 1986

Image 17 1/4 in. H x 11 in. W.

The final image became a limited edition print called "Cheers" and Cover for Fall 1987 issue of Heavy Metal Magazine and was also a PLAYBOY MANSION invitation.

Oldie but goodie! I am always looking for Olivia (especially early works) and I have access to many I am not keeping if you are seriously looking.

I added Cover and print from an HA sale for reference.

Even in prelimnary form, there are some great techniques used here to represent the sheer lacing on this 80's fashion piece. The negative space framing design emboldens the figure to stand out even more.
