Spring Heeled Jack

In 2012 Darwyn adapted a Richard Stark prose mystery to a graphic novel. That gave me the idea to give a reference book I had on penny dreadfuls and early noir novels to Darwyn at a Chicago Convention. He appreciated my effort and asked me if I would like a sketch? I'm sure there was a Spring Heeled Jack reference in the book I gave him which triggered me to ask for a sketch of Jack. We found an illustration in the book and in no time the sketch was a done deal.
