Description

I remember seeing this picture for the first time in Dun Laoghaire College of Art & Design in 1995 when my college pal bought the premier Spectrum Art Album. I was blown away and promptly spent �6 to get a full A4 colour photo copy of it, that seemed like a lot of money back then. I now have the original piece��.mind blown.

This has been published several times. As the cover of the Dark Horse mini series, in the Spectrum awards art book (where it received a merit) and on the cover of the UK Terminator magazine and as a double-page centre spread in the same magazine.

Stan Winston himself must've been impressed as he hired Simon to design the robots for the next movie in the franchise, Terminator 3:Rise of the Machines.

One of my favourite pieces by the Biz.

PS:I still have the photocopy...

Textures, attitude, and personality come out of every part in this painting. The gun, the face, the abs, and the giant arm all bring it individually and collectively. Biz at his best in this fertile period of his career!
