it's lonely at the center of the earth. unnumbered page.

Really excited to add a page from a book that I found really compelling. Sure stuff like spiderman is cool, but its often the personal books or creator owned IP that I really dig more than the big IP.

You never really knew what was coming next with this story and the freshness of the visual techniques that were used to explore different emotions was lovely. If you grew up like me, reading comics in canada and in particular around toronto, in the late 80s and 90s... there was alot of autobiographical books being produced like dirty plotte or peepshow (and many others), and their creators were a cornerstone of the comics scene here.

Only history will tell how THAT particular phrase will impact the creator and her legacy... but it is a big part of this narrative and its intriguing to have a page that references it.

Super talented and refreshingly daring!  It's amazing to see someone courageous and willing to put themselves out there for their passion as a storyteller.

The panel where they're all staring at the finished stack is one of the most memorable in the book. In my top 3 pretty comfortably. Bleak, funny, and something we've all felt when we complete something that should mean a lot.

Good one!  Panel 8 and 9 especially with that nice wry humor characteristic of the story.
