Description

Here is Viktor's essay and concept of his vision of "Bullets of Boundless Love"

Three soldiers: the first one, wearing a beret, symbolizes the conviction that he is right. The soldier with the machine gun symbolizes cruelty, the third soldier symbolizes humility. Birds are the souls of fallen comrades and victims of war. A machine gun with illogical cartridges tucked into a belt, a symbol of the absurdity that is happening. Mountains of cartridges and cartridges with wings are empty words that do not conceive anything. Bullets and cartridges - concrete deeds and intentions to destroy. All this, a huge mountain of endless war!

This was a commission piece and Viktor nailed it. He is the pioneer of Euro-surrealism. Please excuse mark in the middle but this painting is 40x80in in size and is too hard to take a better pic then the one Viktor sent me upon completion.�Such a great artist and friend.

Thanks for leaving the comment. Coming from you that says something. Viktor is a quite famous in many circles outside the usual material seen on caf. You should look him up. He has been killing it for decades.

A tender moment iof the birds being cared for amidst all the constant rattling from flying shells and gunfire. It draws a line to contrast big brawny action with the small and vulnerable to show how precious life is.

Very nice! Despite all the details and nontraditional composition, this shows great control of values, I have no problem finding the figures, and I immediately saw the important fluttering bullet casings small as they are
