Description

This stunning page is the final page from The Lamp (1947), one of the most classical Spirit-stories ever. The page is from Will Eisners best period as a comicartist. Here he is truly showing his brilliance. Note the reflexion in the window in the last panel, and the elegant way to sign the piece! It is important to remember that Eisner at one point started to use assistant artists, but not as early as in 1947.
