DescriptionAdi and Iron Man go hand in hand. I've seen Adi paint movie and comic versions of the character through the years and the evolution of his craft and as we came to Lake Como, in the weeks preceeding Adi started posting pics of this piece in progress and I new we were seeing something really cool happening again here. It was time to add another Iron Man from Adi to the collection. This one will end up on the wall. It seems fitting to me too, to be able to recieve such a piece of fine art against the backdrop of a festival such as Lake Como Comic Art FestivalSocial/Sharing |

I like that it's painted like the unfinished George Washington Athenaeum portrait to leave the sections left bare, but of course more modern sharp with that Granov machine metal finish. Put this guy on the MCU dollar bill!

I mean, there's our MCU Iron Man! Incredible color rendering, including the lights in eyes. Congrats!

I'm going to guess a combination of acrylic burnt sepia and burnt umber in the underpainting. Then followed by soft body acrylic paint for the second layer. Maybe some soft colored pencil for the delicate areas. Hence the "mixed media" category.
This painting's rock solid foundation is the base drawing itself and the design conception. In my opinion, these are the areas in which Adi has grown the most.

Adi has become as much a part of Iron Man lore as RDJ as Tony Stark - you can't think of one without the other.
And brother - you got one HELL of an Iron Man piece here!
I am impressed. Congratulations.
