Description
I was drawn to this page initially by the unique layout but more compellingly, the mental struggle between Joe Fixit and Banner manifesting in the physical world. I've only recently become aware of the fact that I have quite a few pages that capture the Banner/Hulk inner dialogue. I have not been consciously adding them to my collection, but I now find myself more fascinated with that aspect of Bruce's relationship with all of his alter egos. That of course will never keep me from picking up a smash page but rather just makes me appreciate the writing and story-telling more.

I love the long vertical panels.  Of course we've seen them used before, by many artists.  But rarely as effective as this.  Great frame by frame sequence.

Cinar's layout puts into focus what Mr. Fixit is feeling in his mind as the panels squeezes in more and so is the pressure of his migraine building.  One wouldn't be surprised if this is a right handed page and you had to flip the page for an explosive splash.

Great observation as usual Marcus! You are correct, the rage on this page is a stark contrast to the rather calm DPS to follow.

I like these kind of Hulk pages, too.  Always cool to delve into the mind, or minds, of the Hulk and all his personas, especially how artists can exhibit in different ways visually.  Nice example here!  Congrats!

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a striking page by Yildiray Cinar! I love the layout here with the four tall panels. It's such a unique way to present the ongoing struggle between Joe Fixit/Hulk and Bruce Banner. Cinar's use of a series of increasingly tighter close ups is phenomenal! And that final panel with Banner's face in Joe's iris is fabulous! Great pick-up, congrats!
