DescriptionOriginal cover art from Johnny Bruck (March 22, 1921 - October 6, 1995). Gouache on illustration board. Roughly 14x20 in B3 format size.Cover of German Atlan episode #720, published in 1985 under the title 'Die Falle der Hyptons' (Trap of the Hyptons). Atlan da Gonozal is a main character of the Perry Rhodan series. Given the character was very popular, it was given its own series within the Perry Rhodan universe starting 1969. It was quite successful and the last edition #850 was published in 1988. Johnny Bruck painted the majority of covers. Social/Sharing |

Very nice sense of adventure conveyed with an intrepid trio all having th idea to go explore the mysterious giant structure in the distance. Bruck paints it so we are curious to find out with them.
