Day 23. Thirty-One days of Star Wars (2024 edition) continues!

Sith apprentice Teneb Kel is tasked with hunting down the Emperor's apprentice Exal Kressh. Along with his Abyssin slave Maggot, Kel follows the Emperor's instructions to search for Kressh in the Lenico system, but when he encounters Kressh, she easily defeats him and destroys the space station they are on before escaping. As illustrated on this page, the confrontation between the darksiders interrupts Maggot's Sabacc game as the station starts to come apart.

"Blood of the Empire" was the second arc in Star Wars: The Old Republic, a series of webcomics that was a tie-in to the Star Wars: The Old Republic massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) by LucasArts and BioWare. Written by Alexander Freed and penciled by Dave Ross, this story was released in three issues, all of which were published over several months in 2010. Seven pages would be released every other Friday on the game's official site for a total of 28 pages per issue. The first story arc "Threat of Peace" was later combined with the three issues of "Blood of the Empire" and republished as the six issue Star Wars: The Old Republic comic book series by Dark Horse in the months after the completion of the webcomic.

cool page!! I missed it when it was out as a webcomic but later got a collected edition/trade paperback I believe. I also used to play The Old Republic MMORPG which is still going strong it seems, but it's been ages
