"Ego". Pencil & ink on sketchbook paper. 6.5" x 8.5". Drawn 2019, signed 2020, purchased Nov, 2021. Hanging on my bedroom wall ever since.

While Miles is most known for his paintings and graphite drawings, his pencil & ink drawings are also incredible. This is likely his most well known inked piece. The image was used to make t-shirts, stickers & several colored versions of a detailed resin statue. It was also featured in his book "Excavations" released through Aux Gallery and his book "Liminality" released through Paragon Books.

Very nice illustration to express an emotional state of inner crisis as the burden increases as the ego becomes bigger.
