Wendell Vaughn is my Quasar.
This is one of those series that I picked up because I liked the character in the Thing Marvel Two-in-One issues from their adventures at Project Pegasus.

The story was compelling. Great art by Ryan, Manley, etc Even had some wicked covers by Jim Lee.

It's where I first met Ego the Living Planet.

Here we find Quasar fighting Death Urge (D'Urge) on the moon (if I remember correctly).

When this came available I had been looking for a Quasar piece. Truth be told I've been looking for the greater part of 10 years. They are just few and far between.
The line work is great with those thick, dark inks by Bulandi.

One of my favorite acquisitions this year!
