Description

Missed the pieces during the broadcast on CAL but caught the video and saw this page was still available. I enjoy his paintings a lot but could never quite afford the ones I would want. Luckily his pages are just as good to look at and this one stood out to me with the composition of the ladies and the inking technique. Note that a number of lines are still in pencil and he did some graphite toning as well. A splendid example.

The linework is so masterful like he's using a paint brush applying the graphite with long swirls and tight detail.

I always have loved the dress and lace details. But the goggles, just steal the show for me, awesome pick up, one of the best Sharkey 1 pages for visual appeal. Awesome!
